Registered Manager

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to commission and run our stunning, brand new care home, Elm Lodge, in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.

Opening in July 2024, Elm Lodge is a 60-bed care home providing residential and dementia care and offers a fantastic opportunity to set the foundations of an outstanding home and successfully take it forward.

As Registered Manager, your role will be to provide outstanding leadership in all aspects of the day to day running of the home to ensure the delivery of high quality person-centred care to our residents. You will have overall responsibility for driving and maintaining occupancy, financial management, staff recruitment and retention, regulatory compliance and resident and relatives experience.

You will need a proven and successful track record in a similar role with a strong commercial awareness, along with an excellent understanding of marketing and extensive experience in maintaining occupancy. In addition, you will have an in-depth understanding of the needs of older people and a passion for delivering person-centred care, and you will be able to communicate clearly, demonstrating empathy and compassion in engaging with the staff team and residents and their families.

You must have at least an NVQ Level 5 in Management and Leadership and a Registered Manager award or equivalent.

This is a full-time role of 42 hours per week. Salary/package is competitive and commensurate with the role, plus a discretional bonus scheme and the following benefits:
