Rowan Lodge Luxury Independent Living with Residential Care at Rowan Lodge
Rowan Lodge is delighted to open the doors to its new luxury residential floor at their award-winning care home.
Each of the ensuite bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs, deluxe furnishings and state-of-the-art equipment. A summer house, alfresco dining area and communal kitchenette are connected by a spacious lounge for all residents to enjoy. Access to these private facilities means residents can benefit from luxury and independent living with the support of residential care.
We provide a full and varied activities programme for our residents, which are typically organised between 10am and 4pm each day. The activities team use care plans and individual residents’ histories and hobbies to plan respectful activities that enhance lives, encourage socialisation and stimulate memories. This is an important part of our person-centered care.
With four communal lounges, two outdoor patios, a family room, cinema and dedicated activities room, there is plenty of space for hobbies at Rowan Lodge. Residents are free to choose where and how they spend their time. This includes socialising as much (or as little) as they wish to. We respect our residents’ right to make choices and are happy to organise activities they tell us they would enjoy. And for those who are less able, we provide 1:1 activities.

To provide the exemplary care our residents deserve, we have nurses onsite 24/7 and intentionally hire more staff than the industry average providing a relaxed environment for our residents where staff can deliver person-centred care.
Good nutrition and hydration is important for your health, our talented Catering Team prides themselves on offering freshly prepared meals every day. We also plan and organise new and exciting ways to encourage nutrition and hydration.

Choosing a care home can be a difficult and emotional process. Rowan Lodge tries to make it a little easier by providing the level of care and homely environment that our residents would wish for. Our open-door policy means visitors, guests and pets are always welcome, any time of day.

Resident Joy celebrates her 100th birthday on a Harley Davidson! A huge ‘thank you’ to the Basingstoke-based ‘Fukarwe’ motorcycle club for making this event happen. Joy and her family will forever treasure the memories of this special day. Congratulations to Joy for then winning the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) ‘Grow Old Disgracefully’ Award!
