Award-Winning Care Homes in Hampshire and Surrey

Friends & Family Work for Us

Providing well-rounded care is important to us and we endeavour to look after residents’ physical and medical needs, as well as their social, mental and emotional well-being.

Although things like physiotherapy, hairdressing and chiropody are not regulatory requirements, we believe they form an integral part of our resident’s care and should be provided at no additional cost.

Physiotherapy

Residents leading an active and healthy lifestyle is a main focus at Forest Care. That is why each care home offers weekly group exercises and a clinic where residents can have one-to-one consultations with a Physiotherapist. Physiotherapy plays an important role at every Forest Care home because it helps maintain resident’s mobility, prevents falls and helps to train the staff in best movement practices.

Hairdressing

A little pamper makes everyone feel good, which is why our hairdressing services are included in our weekly fees. The only additional charges applied to this beauty therapy would be specialist treatments, such as perms.

Barbering

Memory Lane Barber visits our care homes on a fortnightly bases to offering a barbering service to our residents. This mobile service creates an old school barber shop within the care home for our residents to enjoy.

Chiropody

Each of our care homes have visiting chiropodists who make regular visits, attending to any treatment our residents may require. This is an important part of the holistic care our residents receive at every Forest Care home.

Day Trips

As each of the homes have their own mobility vehicles, the teams are able to transport small groups of residents for
day trips. Whether our residents want to go ice skating, pop to the shops, have tea at the local garden centre or take a trip to the seaside, this greater independence means we can provide a better home for our residents.
