All of our care homes are free from the COVID-19 virus.
COVID-19 update from our homes, 02.10.20
We are now welcoming new residents into our care homes to ensure that we are there for those in need of care and support. In order to do this with the safety of our residents and staff in mind, we have a clear admission policy, as well as infection control protocols in place that are being strictly followed.
Our award-winning homes are proud to offer person-centered nursing care, life enriching activities, nutritious freshly prepared meals and holistic support tailored to individual needs. Please contact the care homes directly for more information, or to arrange a virtual tour of our homes.
We understand how important it is to see your loved ones, not only for their emotional and physical well-being, but also for yours. That is why we have prepared our care homes with Covid-safe indoor visiting spaces for residents and relatives to use. These spaces will be subject to the following safety rules and procedures:
Each home has slightly different arrangements for their indoor visits, so please liaise with each team directly. Our intention now is to continue with this form of visiting indefinitely, however we may have to suspend visiting again if there were to be another widespread lockdown and/or if we are instructed to do so by Government or Local Authority.
Forest Care is here to ensure that for those who need care, we are doing all that we can to keep them safe and protected, while all of our staff are trained in infection control and the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Please click on the care home names below to access their latest newsletter, showing a snapshot of daily life inside our care homes. Despite lockdown and social distancing restrictions, our residents continue to enjoy a wide variety of stimulating activities, complementing their holistic care. 2020 summer newsletters for Cedar Lodge, Holly Lodge, Oak Lodge and Rowan Lodge.
Unfortunately, it remains that non-essential visitors are not permitted inside our homes for the time being. This is so we can maintain necessary infection control measures during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Enquirers are not able to visit the home for a care home tour, however, we are in the process of making Virtual Tours of each of our care homes, allowing enquirers to view our care homes in great detail at any time.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by calling 0333 305 1785 or emailing email@example.com. Do also contact the homes directly if you would like to speak to a loved one.
Each of our award-winning care homes combine luxury living alongside specialist nursing, residential, dementia and respite care for the elderly, in purpose-built environments set in beautiful Hampshire and Surrey countrysides. Our private care homes offer all-inclusive fees and no deposits, you can relax knowing one fee covers all the person-centered care you or your relative will need.
We take great pride in the care we provide for each of our residents and work closely with their families to create individual care plans that meet all their needs whether medical, physical, emotional or social.
Forest Care has no hidden extra charges. The fees payable are charged from the day of arriving to the day of leaving and include a variety of complimentary therapies. Our weekly fees are dependent on individual needs based on a comprehensive pre-admission assessment and include NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC) where eligible.
Care homes are categorised by the type of care they provide, which will range from minimal support to 24-hour nursing care for those with complex needs. All of our homes offer respite, residential or nursing care, while Rowan Lodge and Holly Lodge are also suited for those who are living with dementia.
We provide a full and varied activities programme for our residents, which are typically organised between 10am and 4pm each day. The activities team use care plans and individual residents’ histories and hobbies to plan respectful activities that enhance lives, encourage socialisation and stimulate memories. This is an important part of our person-centered care.
Our nursing and respite care homes in Basingstoke and Hook, Hampshire and Camberley, Surrey offer high standards of care, comfort, security and support in beautiful surroundings.
