COVID-19 update from our homes
We are pleased to be welcoming visitors to our homes in line with the latest Government guidance. Visitors are asked to take necessary precautions to keep themselves and their loved ones safe, in line with general population guidance; must wear a face mask (not face covering) inside the home; must sanitise, or wash their hands, on arrival at the home and regularly during their visit; should not come to the home for at least 5 days if they are feeling unwell, even after testing negative for Covid, and if experiencing any symptoms that suggest other transmissible viruses or infections such as high temperature, cough, sore throat, diarrhoea or vomiting.
We are also welcoming new residents into our homes, following all the latest safety protocols. Please click here to see our latest information regarding Covid-19.
Each of our award-winning care homes combine luxury living alongside specialist nursing, residential, dementia and respite care for the elderly, in purpose-built environments set in beautiful Hampshire and Surrey countrysides. Our private care homes offer all-inclusive fees and no deposits, you can relax knowing one fee covers all the person-centered care you or your relative will need.
We take great pride in the care we provide for each of our residents and work closely with their families to create individual care plans that meet all their needs whether medical, physical, emotional or social.
Forest Care has no hidden extra charges. The fees payable are charged from the day of arriving to the day of leaving and include a variety of complimentary therapies. Our weekly fees are dependent on individual needs based on a comprehensive pre-admission assessment and include NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC) where eligible.
Care homes are categorised by the type of care they provide, which will range from minimal support to 24-hour nursing care for those with complex needs. All of our homes offer respite, residential or nursing care, while Holly Lodge is our national award-winning, specialist dementia care home..
We provide a full and varied activities programme for our residents, which are typically organised between 10am and 4pm each day. The activities team use care plans and individual residents’ histories and hobbies to plan respectful activities that enhance lives, encourage socialisation and stimulate memories. This is an important part of our person-centered care.
