Top 20 Care Home South East England 2024 Award

Oak Lodge are delighted and extremely proud to receive the “Top 20 Care Home South East England 2024” award from carehome.co.uk. It is testament to the continuous hard work and dedication of Grace (Home Manager), Jacqui (Administrator) and all of our staff who work tirelessly and selflessly in striving to deliver the highest standards of care to our residents, and it is all the more satisfying to see that reflected and appreciated by our residents and their families who very kindly take the time to submit their reviews.

Celebrating 'Arts in Care Homes' at Forest Care

Residents, families, and staff came together at Oak Lodge to celebrate ‘arts’ across our four care homes with a theme of ‘reflections’. This event showcased creativity in diverse ways from painting, crafts, knitting and photography, to Irish and Indian dance, music, poetry, creative writing, and martial arts. ‘Arts’ in care homes greatly helps the wellbeing of residents, that’s why we continuously look at ways we can bring arts to our homes and will be running this event again in 2024.
