Oak Lodge Care Home offers nursing, residential, dementia and respite care for its residents. We are an outstanding care home that feels more like a five-star hotel. Our team provide a full and varied activities programme for our residents. The activities team use care plans and individual residents’ histories and hobbies to plan respectful activities that enhance lives, encourage socialisation and stimulate memories. This is an important part of our person-centered care.

To provide the exemplary care our residents deserve, we have nurses onsite 24/7 and intentionally hire more staff than the industry average providing a relaxed environment for our residents where staff can deliver person-centred care.
Good nutrition and hydration is important for your health, our talented Catering Team prides themselves on offering freshly prepared meals every day. We also plan and organise new and exciting ways to encourage nutrition and hydration.

Choosing a care home can be a difficult and emotional process. We try to make it a little easier by providing the level of care and homely environment that our residents would wish for. Our open-door policy means visitors, guests and pets are always welcome, any time of day.
On 30 August we celebrated the long service of our staff with a delicious buffet and gifts of flowers, chocolates, bubbly, and vouchers! A big thank you to Rosario who celebrates 20 years at Oak Lodge, Sushma & Jacqui who celebrate 15 years, Eveline, Sunita, Rebecca, and Jennifer who celebrate 10 years and the following staff who celebrate their 5-year anniversary: Jane, Darlene, Neha, Bal, Michelle & Sarah – we appreciate everything that you do! Also thank you to Grace our Home Manager, Jacqui, Flora, and our kitchen team for making this event happen!

We won at the Hampshire Care Awards! This annual event celebrates expertise and compassion in individuals and teams working in adult social care. Our Oak Lodge Care Home were finalists in three categories: ‘Nursing Home of the Year’, ‘Volunteer of the Year’ (Eileen Galvin) and ‘Ancillary Employee of the Year’ (Ying Wiseman). Congratulations to Ying who won her award at the ceremony in June 2023.
