Incentives

At Forest Care, we are proud to create positive working environments within each of our care homes by encouraging employee participation and humour in the workplace, this is reflected by our many long-serving employees.

We offer a competitive salary and value the hard work of our employees. As a family-owned and managed company, we believe our employees should be generously rewarded for their dedication to providing quality care. This is why we offer the following benefits and rewards:

We provide comprehensive induction training for all new employees to ensure they feel confident and comfortable in their roles at our care homes.

We seek to employ the very best people to deliver exemplary care to our residents. Therefore we ensure that all of our employees are provided with continuous training and development to build upon their skill-sets, irrespective of previous qualifications and experience. We will pay for, support and encourage employees to complete further NVQ training (if applicable). We will also provide free training in the form of eLFY online courses and virtual dementia tours.

All of our employees receive an annual review, and one of the ways we regularly reward employees is through work-based promotions.

We will pay the skilled worker visa application fee for eligible nurses and senior carers who are abroad and looking for employment within the UK.

All full-time, contractual employees can enjoy paid breaks whilst working at any of our care homes.

All full-time employees are entitled to 28 days holiday per annum. All team members accrue holiday during their employment with Forest Care.

At Forest Care we operate an automatic enrolment facility into a pension scheme. Employees will normally be automatically enrolled after 3 months of continuous service.

Employees can enjoy modern interiors and surroundings, beautiful woodland views and landscapes and up-to-date professional equipment.

Employees who successfully refer a friend to Forest Care will receive £500 in gift cards!

Throughout the year, we provide a variety of treats for our employees including parties, takeaway meals and even a free monthly lottery with a chance of winning £25…just for a bit of fun!

We believe it is important to acknowledge the valuable contribution of every employee to the operation of our care homes. Therefore in addition to National Nurses Week (May) and National Carers Week (June), we host appreciation weeks throughout the year for every team working within our care homes.

We demonstrate our appreciation for long-serving employees through our annual Years of Service Awards every October. We reward long-serving employees with gifts and monetary prizes for length of service. This scheme celebrates your 5th year at Forest Care, and then every 5 years thereafter.

Celebrating a job well done is important at Forest Care, this is why we celebrate a nominated employee every month in each of our care homes. We recognise the hard work of our employees who go the ‘extra mile’ to provide person-centred care.

Forest Care will provide a free uniform for all new employees, and will replace the uniform (if required from normal wear and tear) free of charge. We will also pay for DBS checks subject to successful applications.

All contractual employees can benefit from generous discounts on food, activities and accommodation at Forest Care’s sister company – Oakley Hall Hotel, an elegant and luxurious Georgian hotel set within the beautiful countryside in Oakley, Hampshire: https://www.oakleyhall-park.com/
