Holly Lodge provides specialist care for people living with dementia
Located in Camberley, Surrey, Holly Lodge is a purpose-built nursing home providing a high level of specialist care for elderly people living with dementia. Holly Lodge opened in 2008 and is set in extensive landscaped grounds surrounded by woodland, and offers a beautiful environment in which to live.
Holly Lodge accommodates up to 60 residents, in spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with their own bits and pieces, and each resident has a special memory box containing personal items designed to stimulate conversation.
A team of highly experienced and qualified staff is committed to helping each and every resident with daily living, giving them as much independence as possible and treating them with compassion and respect. We take great care to provide high standards of care, comfort, security and support, and we ensure that all members of staff have ongoing specialist training in dementia care.
Residents have access to spacious communal areas, both inside and outside, where they can socialise and spend time and we always have a choice of activities on offer. These are structured around thinking, memory and reasoning skills, and run alongside other events such as tea parties, armchair exercise sessions, outings and visiting entertainers.
There is a strong sense of community at Holly Lodge, but residents are free to be more private whenever they choose.
