Nursing care means that a resident has access to qualified and expert nursing care 24 hours per day. It’s typically for people with disabilities or an ongoing medical condition, or for anyone requiring extensive rehabilitative care e.g. someone recovering after a stroke.

Nursing care is commonly required for residents who need assistance to administer treatment such as medication or injections. If you or your relative suffers from a physical or mental condition or frailty, a nursing care home can provide safe support to assess, interpret and deliver medical attention.

Nursing care doesn’t mean being confined to bed and residents can take part in activities and socialise with others as much as they choose or are able to.

All of Forest Care’s homes provide nursing care.
