Elm Lodge Elm Lodge is a purpose-built 60-bed luxury residential care home set in three acres of stunning landscaped grounds within the beautiful Hampshire countryside. As part of the Forest Care group, residents at Elm lodge benefit from over 43 years of caring experience and five-star hospitality led by resident’s choice in our brand-new eco-friendly facility.
Alongside our luxury fully furnished bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, courtyard, paddock or countryside views, smart TVs, telephones, complimentary WiFi, and 24-hr call system, Elm Lodge has a home cinema, hair and beauty salon, café, restaurant, on-site activity and hospitality teams, a dedicated activities room, a family room, and multiple spacious lounges and break-out areas. Our reception lobby boasts a self-playing baby grand piano and provides a relaxing space for residents and visitors to unwind with refreshments or just sit and watch the world go by.
Complementing these features, is an extensive outdoor environment offering multiple tranquil spaces to entertain or unwind, including beautifully landscaped gardens, a summer house, a peaceful courtyard and terraces, wheelchair-friendly raised planters, a residents’ gardening club, and even EV charging points.
Our all-inclusive fee includes hairdressing, a nail bar, chiropody, physiotherapy, massage therapy, trips out (12-seater wheelchair-friendly mobility vehicle available) and the many other facilities Elm Lodge has to offer. You can relax knowing one fee covers all the person-centred care you or your loved one will need. Our open visiting policy means family and friends are welcome at any time.
Our dedicated activities team prioritise resident wellbeing by organising a variety of meaningful and joyful activities and experiences to keep our residents active, happy and healthy. Some of the many activities we provide are; themed tea parties and dining experiences, floristry workshops, arts & crafts, exercise classes, gardening, countryside walks, live musical entertainment, trips out to nearby attractions and cultural days.
To provide the care our residents deserve, we set our staffing levels above industry-standard ratios, to enable a more relaxed environment for our residents where person-centred care can be delivered without having to be rushed. We have Carers on-site 24-hours a day and a Hospitality Team to cater for all our residents’ needs.
Every mealtime is a dining experience at The Hartley Restaurant, Elm Lodge’s elegant restaurant. Our talented Chefs and Hospitality Team pride themselves on offering freshly prepared meals every day, crafted from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and creating seasonal menus tailored to residents’ preferences.
