Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse (Days and Nights, 48 hrs pw)

Based at Cedar Lodge, St Catherine’s Road, Frimley Green, Camberley, Surrey GU16 9NP - a beautiful and modern care home with a CQC rating of “good” in all five areas.

Starting salary £18.94 per hour

There are a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends available. 48 hours per week required. Must be flexible to cover both day and nights shifts when needed.

Forest Care

Forest Care is a family owned and managed company, currently with four care homes in Hampshire and Surrey. Our focus is to ensure we provide the highest standards of care to our residents, and their ongoing welfare, comfort and needs are central to how we run our homes. Main Duties of our Nurses; 

  • Engage in nurse care planning and implementation of care plans.
  • Liaise with residents’ families and friends in planning, implementing and reviewing care plans.
  • Work closely with other members of the care team, ensuring that effective, high-quality care is given to achieve planned goals.
  • Provide support and professional supervision to other care staff as appropriate.
  • Administer and order medicines as required in accordance with residents’ needs
  • Liaise with residents’ GPs and other healthcare professionals such as Pharmacy’s, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, community nurses, etc.
  • To undertake any other duties as required by line management

Skills and Experience or our Nurses;

  • RGN/RNM/RNHM qualified
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent understanding of the following:
    • Safe storage and administration of medication
    • Awareness of clinical policy framework
    • DoLS/MCA

Please note this position is subject to a DBS check.

Please note - with effect from 16th Nov, it is a legal requirement that we only employ people in our care homes who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Forest Care is delighted to announce the CQC has rated Cedar Lodge ‘Good’ on its most recent inspection. The home has been rated Good across all areas, meaning the service they provide is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. A great achievement for all the team at Cedar Lodge in Frimley Green.

Years of Service Party

We celebrated our staff and their 5, 10, 15 and 25 years of service during our 31st Anniversary celebrations. Although we couldn’t host the party we normally would because of lockdown restrictions, we still managed to celebrate in style!
