Holly Lodge

An Award-Winning Care Home Offering Nursing and Specialist Dementia Care near Camberley, Surrey.

  • All-inclusive fee
  • No deposits

Our activities team provide a full and varied activities programme for our residents, which are typically organised between 10am and 4pm each day. The activities team use care plans and individual residents’ histories and hobbies to plan respectful activities that enhance lives, encourage socialisation and stimulate memories. This is an important part of our person-centered care.

We respect our residents’ right to make choices and are happy to organise activities they tell us they would enjoy. And for those who are less able, we provide 1:1 activities. Residents are free to choose where and how they spend their time. This includes socialising as much (or as little) as they wish to.

To follow our activities more regularly, follow us on Facebook using @ForestCareLtd.

Congratulations to residents at Holly Lodge who came 2nd place in the 2020 Forest Care Flower Arranging competition, with their handmade tumbling tea cup arrangement.

Pamper Party

Every week our residents enjoy a pamper day including manicures, pedicures and massages… because, why not! ?

Parachute Games

When the sun is out, so are we. Residents enjoyed a bit of team work with a parachute game in our garden. The activity always brings a few laughs and is a great form of chair-based exercise.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to the Queen from everyone at Holly Lodge. To celebrate the special occasion we enjoyed a themed afternoon tea and watched the processions on our interactive activity table.

Flower Arranging

Many of our residents enjoy flower arranging, which is a popular weekly activity we host in the main lounge or garden.

Darts anyone?

We make regular use of our in house pub at Holly Lodge. “The Holly Bush” has a darts board along with chess, drafts and a variety of beverages to enjoy.

Mobile Library

Every week we take our Mobile Library to all the residents so they can choose a variety of reading material to enjoy.

Skyping our Loved Ones

Although we’ve asked all non-essential visitors to keep their distance, our residents have been enjoying video calls with their loved ones.

Lunch in the Sun

When the sun is out, so are we. Residents have been soaking up some Vitamin D in the sun this week, making the most of the British sunshine while it lasts.

Pamper Sessions

Feeling good about yourself is very important for our holistic care. Residents have been enjoying pamper sessions around the home, which has included manicures, pedicures and massages.

Mardi Gras

For our February Culture day we celebrated America with a Mardi Gras themed party.

Bright Lights

Some of our residents enjoyed our new sensory lights in the darkness of the home cinema.

Everyone enjoyed a live Jazz performance performed by Billy. His music was so popular that we’ve asked him to regularly entertain our residents!

Valentine's Day Dining

Valentine’s day was filled with special meals times at Holly Lodge.

Chinese New Year

To celebrate Chinese New Year, we enjoyed themed food, decorations and even a spectacular dragon dance by the Activities team.

We Have an Interactive Activity Table

We’re delighted to say that we have a Sharp Interactive Activity Table. Essentially a giant iPad, our residents can play games, Skype, watch movies or even stroll down memory lane with Google earth or family photos.

We Won a National Award!

We are delighted to announce that we won the Excellence and Innovation in Dementia Care award at the national Caring UK awards in November. The team is overjoyed that their dedication to providing person-centered care has been externally recognised.

Grand Unveiling Party

After a full refurbishment, we hosted a Grand Unveiling Party for the local community to see our newly refurbished home. The Mayor of Surrey Heath kindly joined us for the occasion.
