Holly Lodge Featured in Knight Frank’s Luxury Care Home Guide 2021, 2022 and 2023, Holly Lodge is innovatively designed throughout to enhance multi-sensory stimulation, accommodates people living with dementia and encourages reminiscence. All elements cultivate calming and stimulating environments, soft furnishings of varying textures allow residents to easily distinguish between items, and contrasting tones and colourful digital wallpapers provide visual stimulus.
There are spacious communal areas for entertaining and dining, a dedicated activities room, onsite hair salon, Holly Bush pub, gallery, family room, cinema, and alcove lounges for residents and their loved ones to enjoy.
Outside, landscaped gardens and a tranquil courtyard provide spaces for relaxation, complete with a sensory garden for residents to independently explore. The outdoor aviary is interactive, with vibrant flowers and raised herb gardens allowing residents to touch, smell and eat different plants. Holly Lodge even cultivates honey from its own beehives.
Although hairdressing, physiotherapy and chiropody are not regulatory requirements, we believe they form an integral part of our resident’s care and are provided at no additional cost.
Holly Lodge has 60 spacious and homely single ensuite bedrooms. Residents are welcome to bring personal items to decorate their room, to make them feel more at home.
Welcome to the Holly Bush Pub, complete with a dart board and table-top games for residents and their loved ones to enjoy.
Residents can choose where they enjoy their meals, in either of the two dining rooms, outdoor picnic area or in the comfort of their own rooms. The family room is also available to book for private dining experiences.
Residents and their loved ones can enjoy a cup of tea or ice cream, garden games or hobbies in our tranquil landscaped gardens, complete with sensory garden and aviary, maintained by our dedicated Groundsman.
The family room is a great space for an afternoon tea, table-top games or to celebrate a special milestone, and can be booked for private events.
We have a cosy cinema area which is available to residents at any time of day, and can also be booked by families.
Holly Lodge’s dedicated activities room is enjoyed daily by residents, families and staff, a great space for arts & crafts, table-top games, reading and hobbies.
At Holly Lodge, there are two large communal lounges spread over two floors for everyone to enjoy, in addition to smaller alcoves for residents and their loved ones.
